Ok! Now i know for sure who is that expert i need to ask about roads situation in Poland :-))

BTW - my last travel across Poland was quite convinient.

17 hours from Dzerzhinsk(BY) to Nurnberg and 11 hours from Prague to border control in Terespol. In daytime :-) i think it was good result :-)

P.S. Dzerzhinsk is a small city in Belarus which is about 300 km from Poland border

Starikashka,
Very good results. We only just came back from Opole to Warszawa: 320km=5 hours. The roads situation in Poland is still the same. Difficult. Today, we heard on the radio, that they should finish in May 2012. So, we need a loooooooooooooooooooooot of patience.

Heh, I'm not the expert anymore... Since I've married my wife, I deal with fuel consumption rather than with a time...

Anyway, 3:05 was from Stuttgart to Zgorzelec ...

And I can't really say If Your time was short or long, :-) But when it will be any ocassion, I will be pleased to race You on the go-cart ring :-)

There are lots of interesting things to do in Kongsberg in the summer. Soon the jazzfestival will be arranged. However, if its good for winterseason fitness, I am not so sure. Enjoy the concerts.

Just reached monday record of 15 windsurf days over 2 months (since 1 april), about 1 each 4, now some rest hehehe 8) (also for some repairs)
BTW I was planning to do a windsurf trip in Estonia but news about polish streets written here makes me think that would be better the 3d windurf trip to Danmark. Yes I hate hot temperatures and like cold (like every snowboarder I suppose) so I go north.

Hi Nakaniko,
There is also several windsurfing spots in Poland, about 40 kilometers from Gdańsk (Danzig), at Hel Peninsula f.ex.:
-
-
Please see the windguru wind statistics archive: http://www.windguru.cz/pl/index.php?sc=30. To Gdańsk, You can go by airplane.
We often go windsurfing to Prasonisi/Rhodes/Greece:
-
-
When is windy there, http://www.windguru.cz/pl/index.php?sc=37 , is not so hot. But during the holidays there's a lot of people on the water. It seems to me, that You can go by ferry directely from Venezia to Rhodes.

Heh i was little bit ironic :D
Biking in Norway is just excellent. Woods, mountains everywhere, rivers, waterfalls. And constant silence, sometimes scary.
Just have to push harder on me wife, she slows me down
