Well, after 2 seasons of hard looking, I've finally managed to find a pair of Northwave's

I bought them from a guy in Laufen, Switzerland on Richardo.ch. They are the Nexus models, black shell, red buckles. They seem to be very similar to the .900's. They have a different look to them than the .900's. The Nexus have little squares on the sides of the shells, and the back of the boot (heel to calf) has a square shape, where the .900's are round shaped. The Nexus also seem to have slightly different buckles. More plastic and less wire than the .900's. The Nexus also have a big screw on the outside heel. When you turn the screw, it raises the heel of the footbed inside. Does the .900's have this adjustment

Does anybody know what the differences are between the Nexus and the .900's, stiffer, softer, etc
Why does everyone take out the Northwave liners and use the Thermoflex liners
Thanks in advance for the replies!
