If you allow me, I get my Swoard recently, and had the pleasure to use it during one all week. I'm not as good carver as all people here, as I can see on pictures and as I seen during Zinal meeting.
But for a "normal winter holiday snowboarder", I can tell you that even for "not real good" snowboarder this board is really nice to use. I feel very more safe on it, it very easier to handle than all the alpin board I tried since last 10 years, even in bad conditions, and it is probably very tolerant because I don't think the only fact of changing the board improve my technic right from the first slope !
So this is really a good board even for alpin snowboard beginners, but yes it has a cost because it is quite custom board, and starting factory.
And as most of people, I don't choose a board for the way it looks, but for its technicals caracteristics. Moreover as far as you relly use it, it is quickly cover by snow so simply looks white ....
About the web site success, it is above all from the nice spirit of the people in the forum, even if some times few exceptions appears ...

I just handle/cover my SWOARD with a carwax, so now my SWOARD stays always nice without covering by snow even when it snows.

I think the Swoard is a pretty board too.
It's red looks so... red... and... the blue Sword's logo is like... humm...very beautiful.
And the films, these guys know how to handle a camera on very dangerous swiss slopes.
I think I'll get I brand new red outfit to go with my board. I was thinking, though, can I buy a green one instead 'cause they say on fashion TV that 2004 is the green year.
By the way is it possible to have a new colour every year for the swoards?
And black and white films, sometimes...

For all those who where there, on these St Barthelemy's days...Peace and love brothers
