Now carving pics from Saturday and Sunday in Le Col are put up to my homepage:
http://carving.grewu.org/gallery/ecsV/index.htm
Take time to watch them, as there is ca. 170 per day of them 8O
Later I hope to compose some sequence photos to single image and maybe gallery of riders' faces, there are some quite spectacular moments captured. But this will be in the beginning of April maybe.
The Blitz wrote:And without taking the lift !!! (all in footing to go to the best place's shooting)
On Saturday I took a lift to make some pics from slope, but on Sunday I decided to "walk" to shooting position. Oh boy, how big mistake it was. Breathtaking, literally :), even more so with board and 6 kg backpack. Next time I'll take lift thats for sure.
Drew wrote:It's great to have someone so dedicated to getting photos and sacrificing their valuable boarding time and free time for editing.
Actually editing was quite pleasant. Yesterday I spent 4 hours to selecting and editing pictures and I'm sure that grin in my face grew bigger and bigger. When after editing I went to sleep and woke up this morning, then I had feeling, like I just now have returned from Zinal, so strong was this presence feeling!
Drew wrote:Maybe you have some material for this photo competition....
Well, I'm not sure, as got only some very lousy jumping pics, you guys can't do it at all :D But I guess that if I send some carving picture, then it for sure will stand out, as most are jibbing pics from park.

VIDEO

Post by Alex » Wednesday 5 March 2008, 12:06

I've just finished a video...
the video operators are Montefuca at first, me and Silber...and sorry we are also the main actors 8) but there are others like Jacques, Patrice , Arnaud, Skywalker,Istvan, ecc.
the hires is more then 200MB and at the moment I'm not able to share it!
This is the low-res version: http://vpod.tv/Alex168H/442775
There are many runs down the Barthelemy, and I put the forum-name of each guy that I was able to recognize...i hope that you will like it

Hi Alex.

1.) is there any other download area possible? The given one is blocked by my company's filter as "internet TV".
2.) How can I get the full quality version? Do you plan to provide it via internet or are you going to burn some dvds for us maybe?

At first you can try with ip address: http://193.200.194.80/Alex168H/442775 but this solution could function only if proxy of your company is not well configured!
Otherwise try with free web proxy server like http://www.cookhappy.cn , but this solution decrease the speed of your connection!

Maybe a stupid question: can I also download it from that site or the only thing I can do with it is watching it over and over ;-)

Sorry, I'm not a computer expert....
