These are half NW and half something else that he innovated.

All the top part is custom made also the BTS.

But what amazed me is the heel lift on the back leg, must be more than 6mm
I think though that's common in racing alot of weird thinks are going on. They're make everything possible to suite their riding.

Crazy stuff.... 8O

With custom Raichles also.

Doesn't look like common Indies to me.
Looks like he have five buckle set up and custom tongues (haven't ever seen them before).

Do you think that we have to start experiments for what is suits us best?

DIY boots... 8O 8O

UPZ

Post by Hans » Wednesday 28 November 2007, 20:40

I think that first racer with the red boots, are UPZ's with the five bucklesystem. I recognize the boot also with the black ovale at the front.

I was looking at his back leg at the silver canting point and the asym tongue attachment and thought that looks familiar to me.

Also in the front left toeside looks like said something like Raichle/deeluxe.

But I think Hans is right.

Silber which year/race place is this photo taken?

Sorry, that being off topic.

But looking at these racers with the Kesslers.

I'm looking forward for Bordy's spacers.

Cause I have some Titanal toy coming and need of treating it with special care.... :D :D

Not from bindings since i started to use suspension kit.
But to be honest i have some from oldfashioned clip-bindings and some marks also from center disk without suspension kit.
Plus some of folks on lift line and ....

Thanks, Pokkis
I have dimps too on my first generation Swoard, especially due to the clip from my standard TD2 which is falling on my board sometimes......
So no big deal for a Metal board here with the use of a suspension kit. I don't like the idea to use that big Lexan disks on my board. I think those spacers influences the flex of the board negatively.

Excuse me Silber for taking over/changing the subject here

Sorry but I can't resist to continue.

Asking about the spacer cause I had an issue with my Prior last year in Livigno when I hit a bump later at that day.

Resulting not exactly a brake of the metal but you could notice it that it's folded it's nose on the right side approx 10cm in front of the binding with a tiny delamination.

Board doesn't have any dents of the standard yellow rings TD2.

Wanted a spacer to protected for further damage.
I think with Bordy's asym spacer it will cover it and protected.

Do you think it going to work?
