expert advice needed.. anyone?
Hi, I am very happy to have found this site..
i am riding and old alpine snowboard, and I need now to buy the right stuff to improve and really lie on the snow.. carving
So I am planning to buy a swoard of course..
Does anyone actually could tell me what difference I would feel changing from a asymetric fanatic board of 164 cm about 10 years old with the brand new swoard?
I manage only on few occasions (depending on quality of snow and steepness) to really be lying on the snow.. tell me that when changing board it'll be easier..?
Thanks for any comments
Good ride!

Take a look at the Swoard section on the main page at read about the idea behind Swoard and also behind the ATC matrix. You may also follow the Feedback link https://www.extremecarving.com/swoard/feedback.html and readexperiences from Swoard users. My personal opinion is: do not hesitate and order a Swoard now. Hopefully, the temporary production problems are solved and you will have a brand new Swoard for the next season. As István says:
Most people that I know are very satisfied when changing to Swoard from another carving board.
.a whole new world will open up

You definately gonna have some fun on the SWOARD. It's a nice everything to do board but with it's specific behavior: possibility to (learn)extremecarving due to its width. It's a board which needs some adaption to your ridingstyle (strong rotation technique). But when you get used to the board and the technique, you will ride it, like you have never ridden another board before. The board is an easy one, you can slide it even at slow speeds. So even a beginner can start with this board.
If the conditions of the slope are not that nice, mostly in the afternoon, I mostly take the Swoard because of its allround character. Thats one of the charateristics of this versatile extremecarving board. I can't speak of the 2D because I have an older version, the 3D but soon the SWOARDS will be produced by another 3th company in line. Watch the forum. Or may be a good secondhand will turn up!!
Have fun and welcome to the club!!
