news
just talked to seb:
He is doing a small production, and all boards will be ready for xmas.
- 173: stock or carbon ( he says carbon is a big success with the 173)
- 183: wood only> BUT, since i told him we were maybe 2 persons ordering a carbon 183, he said he would produce exceptionnaly that model, which is not available normally. He explained that he does not make it usually because on a bigger board, the carbon tends to be tiring for the legs because of micro vibrations.
Prices: unfortunately he told me prices are too low compare to what they should be, and he will not be able to make a reduced price.
Ordering: any people interested should send him an email through his website directly, so he can manage the production.
Carbon 183> if people are interested, we need to regroup so that special order can be done ! Min is 2 boards, for now my porcelain pig is rather empty so i have to wait!

Pogo D-Day for EC?
The Pogo D-Day is a short lively nice Swallow-Board for Fun in deep powdersnow! It's easy to handle in difficult areas like steep forests or gorges. Even on high speed (>100km/h) the D-Day is verry stable and gives me more control and balance than the longer Secret-Spot or the Shaman. When you often are riding in flat areas whith very light, or more then +70- to +100 cm new powdersnow, Sectret-Spot or Shaman gives you more liftup.
The D-day should be riden with soft Hardboots! (it's small: 23.5 cm, R: 12m)
And of course, you can do linked EC verry easy. This is a point you can read nowhere, because primary its a powder-snowboard. But when I want to ride the lazy-style on boring, undemanding and soft slopes, like the swissfrench guy's do it in Zinal, I take the D-Day. Ice-gripp is perfect also for crossing steep snowless parts on Glaciers!

Nils,
I still don't get it why he's not making the carbon in 183..does it get too hard too turn??

He will
He told me only on custom order> ok with experienced riders... carbon makes the board tiring on the bigger model ( vibrations are bigger + board more nervous) so he said he could make one special one for 1 or more orders if needed.

Ok, thanks... still saving my $$$ to get one. Was looking at Kafi web site where he said something about a new version of the Amok. Do u know anything about it?
