ECS '05 Videos

Post by István » Wednesday 29 June 2005, 12:05

Nils,

What is the expected date of publishing the videos from the last ECS? That is the only thing that could give some relief in this hot summer :-)

Cheers,

István

And in case someone else is as bored to this heat as i am :D here is link, (which btw is valid only for these hot summer days) to full copy of our previos seson film :
Episode 2004: The carver strikes back, with modest web quality and size 175megs
If you have this in full DVD resolution, there is no sense download this.
With search func here you find more about film but in short, there is material of 2004 session EC Zinal, Carving Camp Oppdal and HBU 2 plus some more 8)
And here finally also link:

Sorry that i did not tested that, it looks to be there right but dl does not work
I will check and correct that this evemning and give update here too
Here is new link
http://www.flegmatic-carving.com/albums ... _170MB.zip
This is divx file renamed to zip, so when you have downloaded it, you need to change extension to avi.
Sorry bout hassle but i dont know why it does not work, perhaps file size is issue?

to pokkis: Thanks for the link. Have anything more good than nothing ...
But: Video bitrate is 206 Kbps !!! (hour video in 88 Mb !!!)
Audio 192 Kbps (82 Mb)
Not each CD mp3 copy have like bitrate :-)
Do you real thinking that audio more important than video in like movie ?
:-)

Problem is that when i did that copy i had crappy tools and i had one 320 meg version with better pic and less quality in music but lost it somewhere in my disk
Now i'm just too lazy to to do it again specially cause film will be there only during hot summer days.

I prefer my current Vegas 6
http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/Produc ... sp?PID=965
and i can not afford any expencive conversion only sw, but i have tmpenc
http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/te3xp.html
But as said, too lazy to do it anymore cause i would need to start from DVD vob's. I have deleted all that material from HD, that was film of 2004.
Perhaps next summer i will do net version of ANC, but just perhaps cause ANC is first "commercial" film.

Post by István » Wednesday 13 July 2005, 10:48

Nils, sorry for repeating myself, but when do you think you can finalize the video on a downloadable / DVD version?

I can hardly wait to put my hands on it.... :-)

Thanks,

István

Hi Istvan

I'm afraid you have to wait, because I remember Nils is on holidays during July. Don't know if he has Internet access
