I would support pokkis in that if it was not alchohol advertisement - no need to spend money on sofisticated or simple fitness features, they won't help anyway ;-)

It's better to spend your money for something that you like ;-)))

If your work prevents you from carving, quit your work.

Some cracking sailing pics there ...I would say that being almost horizontal to the water is like being almost horizontal to the snow... :)

It's fascinating how even beer drinking has similarities

my summer weight training is leaving me with forearms like Popeye, and not much else...still it might improve my uplift on the t-bars

one last Summer update...my latest weight training development has again been achieved in the upper body area...where I used to see many ribs sticking out..I was pleasantly surprised to find they have almost disappeared... :)

However, from the frozen faces of shock horror that I encounter, it appears I am alone in my joy...which I find highly amusing...

The only downside to such achievements is trying to work out how this will help me in my snowboarding

Anyway, happy snow days to everyone :D

I do..been into shaping and surfing from late 80's till a few years back ( can't wait to get back when I have time)..surfing is just very difficult ( appart when u ride fat/heavy paddle boards or longboards ) and the learning curve is just long...
Beeing able to take off in any kind of waves at average size ( 6 foot) ( reef/sand/rock bottom) takes a decade of training...but its very rewarding stokeness wise..
There is many interesting evolutions in board designs these days too...my fav beeing Mick Mackie swallowtail boards ( http://mackiesurfboards.com.au/designs ) but check also hydrodynamica ( http://surfboardsbyhydrodynamica.com/ )
