VIST plates settings

Post by codighel » Thursday 16 October 2008, 14:30

Does anyone tested them? I've been teasting it on my kessler for a week on a glacier, but I still have doubt on its work.I mounted it rigth on the topsheet without using the metal rings that board's constructors supply. The plate should slide on the board while surfing it but it doesn't seem so.If someone have tips ,please, let me know

Mine slides on home floor only, due no snow yet. But only it only slides with those metal rings.

hei Pokkis...you better go to a glacier then !! just to see your board to slide on real snow..mouch better then the floor of your home

Anyway,I tried to mount the plate with the metal spaciers but it seemed wrong, because the plate did not touch the board remaining fullly suspended.need explainations

the problem is that with the spacers the plate do not touch the board,it remains suspended on the spacers and in my opinion it cannot be right, because the weight or the rider push only on the spacers and the plate does not work

Nope, if you think it, all weight is on plate but spacers just keep/allow plate floating slightly front-back. More you have weight less there is weight to spacer.

 It does not conveice me! Is right what you say that the weigth on the plate allows it to float but what do you mean with:more weight you have less there is weight to spacer?
