Hello,
I am about to buy a Swoard and I am not sure about the stiffness. As I am 183 cm tall and the external size of my shoes is 32 I think I should have the length of 175 of the soward. My weight is 76/77kg and this is why I am not sure about the stiffness. I thought, that 175 cm is already quite tall so maybe I should choose S. On the other hand I dont want to lack stability when extremecarving. Has somebody experiences? Could you give me advice? What do you think of the size of 175?
Thanks a lot!

Hi Katharina,
My boots are 32cm either. I'm 72kg / 176cm tall and I chose the 168M. I also tested the 175S and 175M.
I'd be happy to have all these 3 boards
because it does depend on your preferences (agressive/easy style carving), or even your day mood.
In general I'd say; the 168M is quite agile in all kinds of snow conditions. The 175S is a little more stable (like on a rail), you ride a bit larger turns. But it's still rather easy to ride extremecarving compared to the 175M - here you will have to have a lot of power in your legs.
So my advice for you: 175S. But as I said, it depends on your personal preferences.
hope these helps
Peter

Re: swoard 175 S or M??
Indeed 175 is good for you. One doesn't feel the length of the Swoard, so don't worry.
Now about the flex S or M, it also depends on the type of snow on you usually carve.
On page "Board selection":

Patrice FivatSimple rule: a soft board has more grip on hard or icy snow, and a stiff board is more stable in soft snow (it withstands the forces better).
