Nils, any plans to make narrow version available for small feet persons?
I mean that with small girlie boots of size 23mondo even 21cm width is too much.

smaller persons have smaller feet usually and the 161 is right for them :)
no plans for a 175 / 21cm wide board now :)

Nils, i was refering to width of board not length
More or less asking 161 with width of less than 20cm

I was not requesting cjanges to current one, rather one version for small feet folks, but i can see that it is not economical.

yes for sure and it make no sense to produce narrow boards.

Narrow boards fast killed alpin snowboards 1 time... not again.

Pokkis,
i don't understand your question... If a person have small feet it's absolutely perfect with the width of the 161.

A small person with large feet that would have been a major problem. But a small person with small feet !!! this is a dream !!!

Like me, I am small with small feet and i can reduce the angle of my bindings as I want

the perfect dream for the perfect egyptian style

Sam, we had 161 Swoard but with 23 mondo size that meant to set bindings 35/40 angles and that was not so nice. Now Paula is on 19cm wide board and rides with 42/47 angles and likes that much more. For that size boot 19cm wide board is same as 23cm wide board for me.
I understand clearly economical issue anyway.

pokkis, i do not understand :-) :-) my board has 175 cm lenght, 23 cm waist width :-)i was forced to move angles to 55/60 :-) why person with a small feet has a problem like "too wide board"?

By the way, i used to ride F2 silber with 60/66 angles. Had no problem :-)

It would be same for you if your board width would be 25-26cm.
Try carving with such board, then you see what is problem here

I am also mondo 23  I ride with Head stratos pro and these shoes are much shorter than Deeluxe etc... I ride with 45°- 38° the width of the 161 is definitively perfect ...

I am not alone, Valerie my best friend is also mondo 23 and ride with the 161m with deeluxe shoes  And the other Valerie from Zinal also ride with the 161s in mondo 23 Stratos pro.

I am completely understand with Paula ... riding on Alpin snowboard with low angle need an adaptation time. But at the end it's 100% advantage and low angle helps people to ride with the famous and extraordinary egyptian style !

I don't remember how Paula is riding but for sure if she ride with body counter rotation !! I can easly understand that low angles become to be really unconfortable.

I did :-) my previous board was 28 cm in waist :-) changing edge was easy, not like narrow, but this was not a problem. What else to expect from wide board?

You did not mentioned exactly what kind of board causes a problem :-) Of course, this was a wide version of freestyle board. I tried to carve on this...of cource alpine board is easier for carving, but still :-) no problem at all to do this on wide freestyle board if it is not made from cartonnage, i.e. too soft.

by carving i mean snowboard riding on the edge without skidding. :-)

P.S.: let`s move the conversation to separate topic, before moderator do something :-)

But you could make then name of subject to something more better, cause many people dont think that 19cm board is narrow  or perhaps 19cm wide Swoard could be tought as narrow
EDIT: Subject proposal: 19cm narrow 161 Swoard?
