Ibex Speed TC suitable?

i just got my Swoard and i want a set of f2 titanium bindings (medium) but cannot find them in the USA or Canada. would the Ibex Speed TC bindings be suitable for the Swoard? thanks.

yyzcanuck should be getting a new shipment of F2 soon (shhhhh....).
The Ibex are slightly softer laterally than the F2 from what I understand. Have not tried them personally.

Hello

I ride both bindings and they both work fine. yes the Ibex is a little bit softer laterally.

In contrary to the F2, till now I have not managed to brake an Ibex bail.

Isn't softer laterally better for EC? Or is the F2 flex flexy enough?

i got an email from yyzcanuck and they will not ship f2 products to the u.s.a. for some unknown reason. it looks like i will get the Ibex. thanks.

a couple of photos of what i was using (Rossi.) and what i am using now. i am afraid it is just a matter of short time before the older F2 binding breaks as well. Rossingnol binding broke after a few days of use and lucky for me nothing else got broken.

get those F2 race titanium from ebay.de... most guys speak english so u'll be able to get them to ship a pair there!

Ibex is the best binding!!!!!

Perfect for riding a swoard.

laterally not too stiff, very short baseplate, best toeclip (there is NO better), and very very low profile. Simply Ibex is the binding N°1 if you can't get any old burton race plate carbon. And it is sturdier than F2. The burtons that broke were the ones with see through plastics. Ibex or race plate carbon will hold up much longer.

Half the worldcup racers are on Ibex or old Burton Race Plates nowadays.

IBEX looks promising, low cost, one size fits all (M22-M31), yycanuk also sells heel bail/toe bail parts.

i bought a set of Ibex from https://www.klugriding.com/ . i decided to buy them because they are available in usa and Bomberonline is going to start selling them soon, so parts should be easy to get. now all i need is for it to stop snowing here, it has snowed everyday since the middle of december. i have about four days riding this Swoard 168 and i love it. thanks again.images/smiles/icon_lol.gif

For us US riders who like F2 gear.... yes F2 bindings are hard to get stateside, but I found that Blue Tomato will also ship stateside F2 bindings.

I had been using F2 Titaniums on my Swoard, but at the moment I am using SnowPro Race bindings on my Swoard and have had no prob with them.
