Swoard 2007-08 season is officially open: Online orders :)

Post by nils » Wednesday 3 October 2007, 7:22

Swoard 2007-08 season is officially open:

Ladies and gentlemen, we are officially opening the orders for the new generation of Swoard boards.
Please use the online form for this, after carefully choosing the right board for you in the charts... If you need help you can read or ask for advices on the forum where we'll answer so everyone can benefit from this advice.
Online form is here:

https://www.extremecarving.com/swoard/order.html

Schedule:

*Boards are still in production, so we do not have all serials numbers for the moment, it means we will proceed by steps and waiting period for first orders will be around 20 days from now...then it will go back to normal.

1. orders are taken, and processed so we can verify each choice, boards, and adresses

2. when the boards serial numbers arrive*, we process them and match orders and boards so you will receive a pre-invoice with board cost and shipping etc...

3. as soon as payment is received, we transmit the order to the logistics company that will take from 1-2 days to process it.

4. when board is shipped you receive a notification with eventual shipping details ( tracking etc..). Shipping takes 1-10 days depending on where on earth you are located ( read: Switzerland, next day, New Zealand, 10 days :))

Please note: We cannot be 100% as of today of the delivery dates: but it should begin in early november for the first orders.

After the production is fully there, we will be able to process orders much more quickly: the limitation will usually come from the payment delays between banks, but western europeans can expect the whole process to take 1 week max then.

Price:

We have worked hard with Nidecker to be able to LOWER the price by 30 euros, despite the huge cost of industrial molds and retooling that was needed ( new screens for graphics, prototypes etc) and we are proud to be able to announce the price at 650 euros, excluding VAT. This was possible despite the raise in material costs, and labor costs that are higher in Switzerland, but worth it because of the high quality we have.....Full price in europe ( average) should be around 775 euros. All the boards are 100% swiss made, in the Rolle facility on lake Geneva...

Shipping costs:

We have worked hard with logistics to output reduced price from when we shipped from switzerland ( gen 1 boards)...Here is a few prices so everyone can have an idea of the shipping costs. All prices are for one board, and include export taxes, customs paperwork etc which represent quite a lot!.. Please note that since we export without VAT, you are likely to pay the VAT in your country when you receive the board... Sometimes the shipping company forgets to collect it, but its rare today. Boards we sell in Switzerland are of course full taxes included. Prices are subject to euro / swiss francs changes, and unfortunately linked to kerosen costs... they are accurate for the following month only.

EUROPE

CH: sfr 12,70

TNT express:

D,B,NL,L = 70 euros
F, A, DEN, UK, I, MC = 74 euros
E, FIN, S, IRL, P = 89 euros
Rest of europe, including Russia = 95.25 euros

Rest of the world:
Zone Roe: 125,02€ (Russia, Turkey, Ukraine)
Zone AA: 170,32€ (Argentina, Canada, Chile, South Korea, China, USA, Japan)
Zone Row: 219,16€ ( Australia, India, New Zealand )

Swiss orders: all french speaking swiss are to take orders with Force 5 surfshop in Geneva. All other swiss orders are through www.swoard.com

French orders: all french orders are to take orders with Surfit (Annecy) or Krakatoa (Briançon) until they run out of stock during the season.

Russian orders: we are working a deal with Genza in Moscow, they will have boards. you can approach them here: www.genza.ru

Koreans: please get in touch with www.excarving.com team: Since they order boards together, they get good shipping prices, and thus the price is lower.

USA/North America: www.bomberonline.com

Rest of the world: direct online order.

We would like, again, to thank everyone for the incredible support! We wouldnt have taken the effort to start everything again without your help! so THANKS!

The Swoard team

Ps: please note that we provide paypal when in certain countries ( US, Can..) bank transfers cost so much that the paypal fee ( 4%) is less than wiring money through a bank. Please note that in most case, wiring electronically with your bank will be cheaper. In all cases, wire costs at at your expense ;)
Ps2: Please note that unfortunately there is no possibility to indicate lower price on invoices because the boards are located in a special customs zone and the price cannot be modified in the database, if its the price paid it has to be the same on the invoice...no choice, no bypass sorry :)

Great news!

The selection charts https://www.extremecarving.com/swoard/choose.html are the same for the new swoard generation?

I'm still doubtful for a good compromise...

Great news, thanks Nils

Some small correction/update or what ever  to "Full price"

Full price = (650+transportation cost)*local VAT
So in case of jolly Finland (650+42.70)* 22% =>845
which is btw much less than previous prices, thanks for that, and that combined to even better board :clap2:

Hi,
I assume that the freight to Norway (N, and also S(weden)) is about the same as to F, DK, E, I, EST, FIN, UK, Monaco?

Harald,
you assume right, i presume ( no idea :)) really but should be that

Pokkis: yes you are right, please be aware that in certain countries there could be also local import taxes that are unknown...last thing: i dont know if the VAT will be applied to both the board cost AND the shipping, or the board alone... ( the goods)

For the Germans: the VAT has to be paid also for shipping. :vamp:

GOOD NEWS

Post by nils » Wednesday 31 October 2007, 16:29

Pre-invoices are sent today for payment :). Call your banks :).

The boards are still at the factory where they are receiving the serial numbers. They will reach the logistics wharehouse next week hopefully and will be shipped as soon as they are there. PLEASE a little bit of patience is still needed :).

You will receive an email confirmation as soon as the board is shipped. Meanwhile read a good book or go walking in the nature... Please do not send emails asking when the boards are shipped because answer will be: before nov 15th.

thank you MUCH for the orders you have put so far.... we still have stock for the others hehe....

Note: after the 15th, order process will be quick and efficient!

Information > paypal etc

Post by nils » Thursday 1 November 2007, 18:59

Paypal: Please use paypal only if you ordered saying you wanted to use paypal ! Be aware that in most parts of europe this is MORE expensive than just faxing the pre-invoice to your bank asking for a bank transfer.

If you wish to use paypal, the account is info@extremecarving.com
Do not use paypal unless we already know you are using it. We have to make sure the pre-invoice has it written too.

We are offering paypal payment only because of the huge fee some US banks take for overseas payment.... ( can reach 50-60 euros in some cases...) for the rest of the world, wire transfer are cheaper and just take a few seconds faxing / emailing your bank with transfer order ( of course do not forget to say you take transfer fee :), not Swoard ;)...)

Thnx
Nils

ps: in the future maybe we'll provide Visa payment but its very expensive to create and implement in our site for now...

Since the 161 isn't in production yet and I don't know for sure wether it is going to be for this year, I wondered if there were any 161's available from last year? Haven't I seen this somewhere on the Forum?
Thanks, Viviane
