First time on the Edge of a SWOARD

Post by david » Wednesday 5 March 2003, 4:25

I'm 48 years old, and have been snowboarding for 4 years, and skiing forever before that. I started alpine boarding in January, and have hardly put on soft boots since. I really like getting low!

My SWOARD (175 Hard) arrived last week, and I rode it all weekend. It's very stable, quiet, and damp, especially noticable at high speed, but it is also very quick and easy to change edges. The board responds exactly to what you ask. It is a joy to ride and gives you confidence when you dive head first down the hill! The edge just holds. The wider waist lets you ride with lower angles, which I really appreciate since my feet are size 29.5.

Congratulations and thanks to the Extreme Carving Team.
