SWOARD versus VIRUS Lightning

Post by simima » Monday 4 December 2006, 21:26

Hi

Just met Alex and Silber (hi guys) in Zermatt. One had a beautiful Virus, the other a Swoard.
I have a Virus Lightning, and of course I am happy with it. I however need to have the feet on 60°/65° not to scrape the snow... the board is so small.

Did anybody compare a Lightning with a Swoard? I must say, the Swoard looked terrific....

Thanks

Simon

Ciao Simon!

Great meeting you on the slopes. Too bad we were on that one crappy course. The other side (Plateau Rosa) was so much better.

For the comparison, they are just two great boards but very different. Your probably is a better ride on narrow icy tracks. Swoard kicks asses if you want to lay down very low during your turns. Totally different feelings.

But since you can have them both....go for it!!

See you in Zinal!!
