Purchasing a Swoard

Post by Brucej » Wednesday 16 November 2005, 16:17

It looks like the Swoard can be ordered through the EC web-site. I don't see it on the Virus site. In either case; What is the delivery time??

Thanks,

Bruce

you looked good: the only way to get the board is via www.swoard.com
Delivery time once we receive the payment is about 2 weeks if far away, assuming we have the model in stock, which should be the case from now on.

Are the SWOARD's produced to stock?
Till how far into the season do Virus keep on producing?

175 H

Post by Trip43065 » Friday 9 December 2005, 15:19

I'm interested in a 175 H.

It looks current delivery dates are in Feb. Is that correct? If I order now, when can I expect delivery in the U.S.?

Great product. I wish I'd made this decision a few months ago.

Thanks, Trip

board availability

Post by nils » Friday 9 December 2005, 16:07

Well here is the latest update on dates etc..

All orders will be either shipped before december 20th, and for some of them ( sorry again) will be shipped before mid january hopefully. it means there is good chances that we are able to get back to schedule and cut the 5-6 weeks delay down after xmas.

We are going to make two more molds soon to double production speed, especially on the 168 and 175's... Problem is that whil Frank makes boards he cannot make molds et vice versa... So we still need a small delay to make those.

Something is sure: Spring and Summer will be MUCH used for producing stock!

Thnx all for your patience!

I'm looking at either the 168M or the 175M, If I were to order either of these would I still be looking 2-3 weeks to get it over here in the states?
Ohio to be exact.

well unfortunately, and since production speed cannot be increase, but orders are steady and above prod speed, waiting times are getting slowly longer. If you order now, you can expect 6-7 weeks delay. Can be shorter depending on the board model thu...

Sorry about that !

your board is produced, ready to go
Frank is just busy until today with the ISPO in munchen
He is back tomorrow, and it should be shipped asap!
Sorry again for the delay! Its been a tough production stuff with production speed that cannot be increased until we have more molds, which will be ready only in 1-2 months

delivery times..

Post by nils » Wednesday 25 October 2006, 23:55

We have stock now in all major flexes: H and M.
S flexes are produced on order, but there might be a small stock after a while too.

Basically when we receive the payment, i am sending the Invoice to the factory. Then, depending on the factory schedule and stock, it can be as quick as one week, to one month.

The factory is now shipping all the orders from Summer till october now, because Frank waited to have all at once before the season begins. Now after they are shipped, new orders will be shipped on a more regular basis ( lets say 2-4 times a month.)

Now please do NOT EMAIL US ALL THE TIME ASKING WHERE IS YOUR BOARD etc... ONCE WE TREAT AN ORDER ITS NEVER FORGOTTEN: IF IT HASN'T ARRIVED YET, IT WILL SOON: TAKE A BEER AND WAIT WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT IT ALL DAY.. thnx! Every time the factory takes some time for shipping, i get tons of emails asking for a date etc:
1. i do not know exactly when they are shipped
2. the factory is taking care of things, and they never miss things usually
3. they can be busy doing production so please do not disturb them...
4. everytime the factory is disturbed by me asking questions about the delays, they are destroying precious production minutes!
Remember the boards are not made in china by 500 workforce, but handmade by one or two guys that do it one by one, taking care of everything and taking all the necessary time so it comes out perfectly.

Hope this answers a few questions...
If you are in germany, remember that the process is: online order that I then transfer to Virus, then you receive a Virus Invoice that shall be paid directly to Virus.
Virus acts as German retailer for swoard, but we still manage the customer relation ( board choice confirmation etc..). This also solves complicated VAT issues for German people.
