East Coast USA Swoard owners....
I noticed from the EC board that folks are either from Europe, Japan, Canada or the western US but I haven't seen anyone with an eastern US location in their description. Any out there?
Kelvin,
too bad we didn't meet earlier. I used to live in NYC and carved in Hunter & Windham. Didn't really meet any other carver (hard boots I mean) around there...from 1995 to 2001...

Silber,
I actually learned to snowboard in Italy with a freind from Riva de Garda in '96 and did my first long trip to Livigno/Bormio. I lived in Berlin and moved back to the US in '99. Too bad I'm not over THERE!
I loved Italy!
Nils,
Don't worry too much about anything else except getting that 168 in the mail

Why not
If there is a ECES this winter, we might try to get a few demo's here... One step at a time: First get boards to customers and shops, then get demo boards, then get some to north america

Ski puppy,
I'll be riding at Stratton, Mt. Snow, and Okemo in VT this year... I'd say if you see ANYONE in hardboots/carving board just go up and say hi! I'll be on the Swoard so will probably be easy to spot (the klutz falling all over myself trying to figure out the new board) so say hello. See you on the hill!

Hiya,
Just ordered a 2D 175, sounds like my new all mt board, I live near Okemo, Stratton, do the midweek thing, on sunny days, or snowy days, or etc.
Watched a fellow last spring (during a get togeather @ okemo of MANY carvers)on a sword turn @ low speed on ryme ice @ the top of the mt, said to myself "I need one of thoes), technique, naw, I got no technique, must have been the board:)
------------
Indies, 168 renntiger rs,Nideker 183 custom GS,catek's mounted on palmer lifts, excellent eyesite.

Oops, I just looked it up (probably should have done that ages ago) and it seems that the plural of virus is viruses. Sorry about that. Seems like my guess was really wrong.
I rather like Okemo better for carving than Stratton because of the run layouts. But it does seem that there are more carvers over at Stratton.
