We have the Dual2 ready (Gen5 and Pro2 soon). We are working on IT for availability as soon as possible.
But if you are in a hurry, we can take your order "manually", make you an invoice and ship immediately after payment.
Write to orders@swoard.com . Thanks!

We wrote "Gen5 and Pro2 soon". ;-) It means 7-10 days.
So we can take only urgent orders of Dual2 at the moment. Not the other models.
Thank you!

Hi Guys,

I have 168 Dual and love it! I also love to EC it with my hardboot setup. In looking at the Dual2, have the size/weight recommendations changed any?? Compared to most other boards available, it seems the Swoards are made for really light riders.....the top end weight of the 175 Dual is 95 kilos which is only 95 kilos/209lbs.
You guys suggested the Dual 175 for my 187cm, 104 kilos and mondo 28 hardboots.....but I just couldn't see using that on our narrow trails

Also.....what would you say is the most noticeable difference in riding the Dual2 an experienced Dual hardboot rider would feel??

We replied in the other thread: viewtopic.php?p=125954#p125954
If you prefer smaller boards for narrow slopes, you can also choose the 168XH for your weight.

Hi,

It seems that you keep changing the availability date of the Dual 2. First it was 16/1, then 18/1 and now it has changed again to 20/1.

This is getting really tight for people to order before they leave on their winter sport vacation (like me in early Feb).

Is the date now definite? What are the expected delivery times (to France)?

Thanks!

:rules: If you read the few lines above (top of this page), it's written that you can get your Dual2 NOW. This means IMMEDIATELY.

The delay for the other models is due to the finishing and putting everything online. Varnishing, sharpening and waxing is something we want perfect.
Normally in the industry, the boards are produced 9 months in advance and sold the following winter. We are not a big brand. As our fans didn't want to wait, we decided to work hard for the three new (awesome!) models at the same time. :D

Salut,

Board just received. Looks great! Two quick questions:

Has the board been waxed?

Set up of the bindings: I normally ride F36 R21. Should I set up a bit more aggressive? What do you recommend?

Many thanks.

Cordialement,
Hans

Hello Hans,

Here is the reply sent by e-mail on 20th January:
Yes it has been waxed, as it is dark night. :-) After 3-4 days we recommend to wax again. The 2-3 first times you wax are important to feed the base and get best result (this is the best base of the market). Then you can be lazy. :-)

Your angles are good. Keep what you are comfortable with. With soft boots, this is very personal.
Most important is to have no or only small boots overhang.

Hi guys I sent you an email some days ago but I had no answer.

I'd like to have some info about new swoard dual 2 and help in length selection.

1) how much will it cost the new board including shipping costs to Italy?

2) what are the payment methods accepted? May I use PayPal even if I can buy it from www.soard.com?

3) I have 8 years of experience in snowboarding (just softboot). I ride 40-50 days a year. In the last two years I spent more and more time on carving and freeride.
I'm 172cm x 67kg x boot size 42.5 (MP27.5)

I will ride the board with a stance of 52cm, front +30 back +18 for carving
+21 -6 for freeriding.
I have a personal preference for softer boards than stiffer.
I do like to ride pow in tree lines ;)

For all those reasons I thought the163cm may be the right length.

May you please advice?
thanks

Hi,
163 is a good choice for your parameters, especially if you are into both powder and carving.
Though if you ride a lot in the powder, 168 might be also interesting.

All the team was at the 14th ExtremeCarving Session, which ended yesterday. So you will get a detailed e-mail this week, as we always do.

Shipping cost in all Europe is only 29 € + VAT. We ship from France (though we are a Swiss company), so there is no custom taxes or bad surprises for riders in European Union. To Italy, UPS delivers in about 3 days.

Thank you very much and sorry if I pushed you but I'm new to ec and I'm quite over excited about this discipline

Hi Tali, thank you for your advice.
My concerning about the 168 is the ridability in moguls...I'm used to ride boards from 151 to 158 (shorter for jib/freestyle longer for Am/ freeride) so I don't know if an agressive long full camber board can match my riding style.
This is the reason why I'm a bit sacred about the 168. Honesty my first choice were the 158 but the waist length is too narrow...
