Dual Size Selection

Post by Mike3 » Tuesday 8 December 2015, 1:29

Hi, I am pretty much between the Dual 168 and Dual 175 size specifications and am wondering what size would be right for a US size 11 foot, weight of 175 pounds (with no clothes or gear on) and height of 6 feet? In metric terms, my height is roughly 183 centimeters, weight is roughly 80 kg, shoe size Euro 44. I have good leg strength. Which board should I get? Also, I notice the pricing with shipping is much better directly from Europe than through the US distributor. Is this because I would have to pay a 20% tax when shipping to the US?

Hello Mike,

For your height, weight and above all your feet size (Euro 44), we recommend the Dual 175. Indeed, with soft boots you would have boot overhang on the Dual 168. The Swoard boards are not that stiff longitudinally, and you don't really feel the length (but the torsional stiffness is good and well distributed).

However if you are using hard boots, the Dual 168 would be a better choice, because it will be wide enough for your (compact) hard boots.

Though we are a Swiss company, we ship from France. The invoice is VAT free + shipping 59 € to USA. But you will have to pay local taxes to the shipping company (UPS) when receiving the parcel. Is it 20% in your area?

We send you an e-mail for other details. :chinese:

Hi Patrice,

I weight about 145lbs and use US size 7. Is Dual 158 going to work for me? Also would you pleas send an email about ordering process?

Thank,
Luke

You can ride both 158 and 163... i'm lighter than you (60kg= 132lbs) have smaller foot size 6,5 and am 172cm high..

I really prefer 163 over 158, 158 tends to be too soft for me...
