I am still wondering if a 175 S is not better than a 175 M for versatilty purpose because of its shorter radius (and maybe for icy conditions).
But then, it may involve a loss of reactivity for the board?

My question is based on the current specs of the Swoard. It would be different if the 175 M had a shorter radius, which may give more versatilty in narrow slopes, with no compromise on its reactivity.

Seems to be a difficult balance to find between the EC technic and the versatility of the board ...

Could the Team answer to my question?

Just that I get this right:

The 175S has a SHORTER RADIUS than the 175M? I thought the radii were the same for the same running edge length...?
(I understand though that due to the lesser flex of the -S it might be easier to actually reach the minimal radius in a turn - am I wrong?)

Simon, you mean the S has more flex (softer flex) than the M. So the same boarder can make smaller turns with the S than the M. Or otherwise it's easier to make smaller turns with the S than with the M: that's right.

i can do 360 frontsides in a 4-5meter diameter with a M ....it means if you are in the right flex board, you can bend it much

I owned both 175S and 175M, on the paper I need the 175S.
But actually I prefer 175M, because I'm used to good snow conditions, not hard/ice, and in such conditions I feel better on the M . Maybe this is something to take into account, if you have more ice/hard snow, choose softer flex.
