Looks interesting but I think you made some typos, and I'm sure you will correct that
alexgforce wrote:- Sessions. SES2011, World Carving Session 2011, Velvet 2011 (Russian EC session), Greece Carving session 2011, Carving Masters 2011.
I'm sure you meant:
- Sessions. SES2011, Swoard Carving Sessions 2011, Velvet 2011 (Russian EC session), Greece Carving session 2011, Carving Masters 2011.

And
alexgforce wrote:- Company Profiles. Bomber, Kessler, Pogo, Boheme.
again you meant:
- Company Profiles. Swoard, Bomber, Kessler, Pogo, Boheme.

Otherwise you can not pretend presenting a complete picture of the carving scene... but actually maybe it is not your intention.

My 2 cents....

I think that if nobody has written article for them about session, it is very hard to publish anything

"Otherwise you can not pretend presenting a complete picture of the carving scene... but actually maybe it is not your intention."

You think that my intention is not to present a complete picture of the carving scene???? I suggest that before you start making comments like that spend some time and read the post carufully. The sessions part of the magazine includes Velvet 2011. If you are not aware of this Velvet is a part of the Swoard demo tour. In addition the magazine will give information about the complete tour program.
When we started working on the magazine we send emails to ALL manufacturers. The fact that we did not get material from many of the manufacturers has to do mainly with the time limitations. Not everyone has the time to gather material, take pictures and write an article.
Same goes with the sessions. The fact that there no ECS2011 is because nobody could provide the material (pictures and text) and not because we do not want to include extremecarving as a discipline or or as a community. If anyone can come forward with material we will be glad to include it even at the last minute.

The objective of the magazine is to unite the community and create a reference for the sport In total.

This sounds excellent!!!!

Having such a small community divided has always seemed crazy to me.

Thank you for your efforts Alexis.

Your objectives seems very good, and as I said at the beginning of my post "Looks interesting", but then I was very surprised not to see any words about Swoard, apart Velvet 2011 that some of us know that it is part of swoard demo tour but not everyone here I guess. And I'm sure I m not the only one being surprised not to read anything about swoard in your presentation, I mean we are on a swoard forum here, even if most of the people here are open minded people...

And when I try to read more about your project I got a "coming soon" page...

That was my only point here, maybe few words to explain as you just did why swoard is not present in your first presentation would have helped to avoid this strange feeling that some of us had.

Having said that I really looking forward to read this magazine.

Hello Alexis

I too really hope to see and read a LOT about ECing and Swoard.

Uniting the narrow with the wide and the 'getting down the hill the fastest' with the getting 'laid out' is good Karma and good for our niche' sport.

Cheers
Rob

Guys if anyone has something SWOARD related to submit there is time. 10 days roughly. photos, EC tips, photos, article about the boards, anything you can think that would look good in the magazine and would express your riding style. email me at:

Nice to see an english written carving magazine :bravo: .

What's the weeping here about Swoard not being in the magazine: Velvet is in it!!!!

Alexis did make some real efforts to all manufacturers and to get this magazine done :clap2: . If they (read: Swoard manufacturers) decided they have other priorities, you have to complain with the Swoard manufacturers not with Alexis.

Just my 2 cents.

Great. The first ever carving-only-snowboardmag comes into existence with lots and lots of idealistic commitment, the publisher doesn't know whether he can even cover the expenses, and here the Judean People's Front stands up and claims that they will maybe not be paid enough attention in comparison to the People's Front of Judea (c Monty Python, The Life of Brian).

Carvers unite...
