Review EC-Pants Alpine Style

Post by frunobulax » Monday 2 May 2011, 16:46

Review Carving Pants Alpine Style "The Hirsch"

Pros: maximum freedom of movements, warm, breathable, abrasion-resistant, natural material, intec-handle easy to reach, highest apres-boarding-suitability. No slipping due to built-in suspenders. Cooling effect of fresh snow shoved through the fly on frontside laydowns. Perfect fit through measured making.

Cons: Not 100 percent waterproof.

Other: respect closed hunting seasons!

Thanks to christian61 for taking the pics!

Thank you for your detailed review! I would immediately buy it, but the colour does not fit to my orange boots and blue jacket...! 8)

Still to come: review of the EC jacket "Tyrolean Style" made of highly abrasion resistant boiled wool...

By the way, I established a perfect rotation drill for Austrians, also an adapted version of the push-pull technique:
Ride with your accordion! For regular riders: Play the mleody on backsides, pushing the accordion together. Play the bass on frontsides, pulling the accordion apart..

I never checked, but it seems that boiled wool is the most resisting fabric for gloves on iced slopes, and also water-proof, especially if high temperature dryed before use.
