excellent
after the rabbit carving, now the almost naked snow plowing!
cool
tandem: remember this short sequence from Canon surf II
Jean Nerva at work, with his ( then) partner Mylene Duclos
i guess its cooler to do it with your GF than your friend that plays rugby
See that Nerva has his hands on her belly to make sure she doesn't fall!

Sick, what's the sailsize on that Starboard?nakaniko wrote:It was my dream to windsurf there last summer, but for money and time reson I've stopped my car trip 80 km from Sweden-Norway border. Done a good lightwind wave session in Traslovlage, Sweden.harald wrote:In the May issue of Windsurf Magazine there will be a feature article about windsurfing in Norway. Unfortunately I do not have pictures from the spots in the Eastern part where I usually windsurf, but it can be pretty rough some times.nakaniko wrote:But I can't imagine how nice to windsurf up there
Here photo of my quiet riding in the Venice Lagoon last sunday, Serenity 460 cm

The rabbit has also been teaching carving to other animals of the Great Forest next to my favourite summer ski result Koli and the Polar Bear Petting Zoo.nils wrote:after the rabbit carving, now the almost naked snow plowing!

I'm going to try to get the animals out next weekend for mr. Saarelainen to shoot. With a Camera. If Camera fails, we'll Shoot them with guns and cook them for dinner.
It's 8,5 sqm, Hot Sails Maui Stealth, no cam freerace sail, good old model from '99 bought at cheap price about in 2003.harald wrote:Sick, what's the sailsize on that Starboard?
I could also use a 2003 9,5 Stealth, stored now outside Venice, more hassle in rigging (mast 520) and handling, but I'll try it in the future
Starboard specs say sail range 5-11, but obviously over a superlight wind board the bigger sizes give some more push, depending also from the weight of the sailor. But you also have to consider the handling of the sail, as Serenity is NOT an easy beginner board, is 61,5 cm max wide and with round hull in section.
The result of such a special board, olimpic canoe or kayak shape, is an amazing speed in 5-10 knots range, so the most common situation we have here in Venice; thanks to Serenity now I can do really sporty windsurf almost everyday, and I've windsurfed already 5 times since 1 of april (1/4 of the days) versus 13 times total last season...

Please also consider that in Venice I go windsurfing with my boat and rig on shallow water directly over water surface, so I could have some problems rigging a cambered sail, the easier the better.

I absolutely agree with The Blitz
I used to windsurf in Sardinia every spring, but unfortunately for something about agreement between companies (and lack of a serious governement here) prices of ferries has skyrocketed this year; about 70 euro go and return with my car last year, this year 150 euro and up to 250 on Easter week!
