Carving Masters in Soelden - Contest

Hi to all the (Extreme-)Carvers out there!

As I'm sure you already know, this year's carving season - like the 3 years before - will be finished with the

Carving Masters Event in Soelden from 29th of April until 1st of May

and I think it will be a great event for all alpine boarders as were the previous CM events since 2008.

Since I am responsible for this year's Freecarving Contest at the CM, I hereby invite you all to the CM and especially to the Contest.

The Carving Masters Contest is a freecarving competition in which you can compete with the best alpine boarders.
Everybody is welcome to take part. Just make sure you enter in time!

What’s it all about?
The Carving Masters Contest is not a race. There are no gates, no timekeeping, no rules except for one: YOU BETTER ROCK THE HOUSE!
There is a jury of 3 judges who give points in the categories style, technique and fun. The better of two contestants will advance to the next round.

It doesn’t matter which style you prefer.
Whether you

Show extreme carving or go down at racing speeds
Jump out of your turns like a grasshopper or just take a lazy nap on the slope
Go forwards or backwards
Start your run with some dance moves or end it with a primal scream
Compete in you brand new shiny snowboard outfit, in a smoking jacket or in your underwear
As long as it looks awesome and as long as it’s snowboard carving, it’s fine.

It will earn you the audience’s respect, the jury’s points and the chance to win your heat and advance to the next round.
And maybe – you will be this years CARVING MASTER!!
