Hi guys,
Just started carving with my Burton Precision M6 and was wondering which angle is the best for the stances ? Actually, I'm riding 30°-30° ..
It's such a nice feeling to cut the snow and enter in a carve. It's sad to see that many young riders don't know anything on the alpine snowboard. I'm 17 years old, and I'm probably the youngest and only «alpine» rider in my station.
Cheers from Canada,
Antoine

Re: Riding stances ? Which angle ?
Simple.
In general angles for EC: Back foot as low angle as you can get with no overhang of a boot. Front foot a few degees more.

Angles and stance has to be convenient for you and if you go such high inclination angles make sure there is no boot overhang.

And therefore the 90% of snowboarders don't care about style and precision in turning and carving, they only want to jump even if there's nothing to jump, dressed and standing like monkeys, not men.
So counter-rotation is what you almost always see from them.
Imho the wrong way for making the snowboard the most popular sport on the snow.
