This material is used for welding safety gloves. It protects gloves from excessive wear, but when the surface became icy there is nothing better than piece of plastic.

Keep improving :-)

Bought a pair of Rey's gloves in Zinal. After 10 days of use, no marks of wear or tear at all. Gloves I used last season (different approach: as cheap as possible and just buy plenty of them) would have been destroyed by now.

The one size fits all is Huge, but since we've had constant -30c ever since the session, it's a good thing, because it fits warm gloves underneath and only works as a protector. The gloves have a good grip and yet they glide on snow without friction. Good stuff!

+++ Seems to be a very lasting solution
+ Long glove fits easily over jacket
+ Coating has good grip, yet slides on snow
+/- Big size ( - difficult to do anything precise, + fits any glove / mitt under)
+ Leash for keeping in touch your EC gloves when taking them off
+ Price (in ECS Session) very good compared to experience this far.
