Inner shoe, Deeluxe 700T

Post by tohass » Monday 20 December 2010, 14:40

I'm having a pair of Deeluxe 700T from year 2008 and I'm not that happy with the inner shoe in these since I think it's too soft and doesn't keep the shape with changed temp.

Is the inner shoe better with newer model and is it different in the 325?

700 and 325, what's the difference between these in years model?
Year 2008, the 700 was wider and 1/2 size bigger than the 325, is it still the same?

You should already know: the shells of the Deeluxe boots never change. Only the materials used, changes. The 700 series is an asymmetric design, the 225/325 aren't. The liners of the new models are much better than the earlier models but still aren't the best money can buy. Just buy yourself a customfoamed liner like Strolz or others and you will be satisfied.

Not sure what "asymmetric design" means. Could you please explain further?

Your normal shoes are also asymmetric. Like the difference between your left and right shoe.

Thanks Hans.

Pokkis, did you try the overlap hard ones too or you went for the soft ones immediately?
Are these thicker than the original liner?
Did you have the 2008 liner as I had?
What about size, do you have the same mondo in these as the original 700 liner?

Tohass I have both liners. The one you have (the black chinese rubbish) and the better red overlap liners from the last model Track 700 red/white.
The last ones are more durable and also (heel-)holds in warm outside temps.

Tohass, you can go for the same size with Palau. And yes, they are thicker than the original Deeluxe liners.

Thanks all of you. I will order the soft ones right away.

Sounds good that they new liner is thicker since the 700 as they are today are a little bit too wide for me.

Just went in to the website and found some more liners http://www.palau-boutique.com/boutique_ ... g_us&num=0 but it's still the "Palau Alpine Overlap Soft" you are suggesting from http://www.palau-boutique.com/boutique_ ... um=0&pag=2 ?
