Hello.
After reading the technique section of this site I've ventured out onto the slopes to try out carving (I'm not up to even try EC yet).
As much as I've tried to keep my position in line with my feet and not the board I've noticed that my body rotated frontwise (chest towards the front of the board); especially on the heelside turn. Is there any special trick not to do it and to maintain the body angle in line with the feet instead of the board?

Its normal to have the torso face the nose of the board, and even go further on backdides using rotation turns no worries about it... It should do it even, in order to make a good rotation, you should rotate until you cannot go further ( but lock torso a bit so you're not seperaterating legs and torso too much)
