This summer 4 of my carving friends started to slalom skate :P
That is very good practice for rotation technic and combining upper body to leg movement, just like EC on winter

Chess? :-) This is also can imply health concern - for example if you win, your opponent can use chess deck to destroy your thinking ability by hitting your head...every sport is dangerous :-)

Are those photos of the current summer?
It's not so nice to see so much ice exposed so early in the hot season

Pictures taken 2 days ago, July 12. Glacier du Ruitor, la Thuile (AO). We were at 2700 m ... about 20° 8)
But this year there is more snow at this altitude compared to 2009.

As there is a terrible heath wave melting all of our glaciers I went for some cold in these days. Yesterday I went walking on the mountains near my home. And ate some very good winter food. Today was cool even here in the valleys near the cities. So I went biking. From my house to Milan 60km next each of them next to a beatiful river or next to a very old canal designed by Leonardo da Vinci. Then back by train.
We weren't tired but our buttocks were hurting from all that hours on the saddles without the proper training :D

I'm a bit sunburnt now :D
