Fuego test

Post by pokkis » Sunday 14 February 2010, 20:43

Finnish team was working hard during EC-session to create proper test methos to measure correct binding installation to board.
Please find here results of that hard work and plase feel free to use this test to setup your bindings correctly.

Required instruments

- board with bindings and boots
- flat surface
- 2 cans of Fuego
- screwdriver

Start test by drinking both Fuegos.
Set your board to flat surface
Take one of Fuego's and set it next to heel as in picture and other one same way to toe section.

Look carefully space between Fuego and board. Both Fuegos should touch lightly boot and board same time, then setting is perfect.
If, as in picture, there is space between Fuego and board, or space between boot and Fuego then you need to adjust your binding accordingly.

Happy testing session and good carves

Finally I understand what you told me up in Zinal!
Very important: Before you do any adjusting, drink both cans!

Congrats to finnish team for realizing this test. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
I know, everyone was searching, but Fuego is the key. 8O
So every spanish carver can do the test, but what about the rest?
Maybe we should ask russian team for another solution.

I think those settings have failed the test - there is a space between board and can:-) and I do not remember any signs of hard work of that kind :-) my neighbours were suspiciously quiet :-) so now i know :-)

P.S. I think we can propose something :-)
i`m learning

:pray2:

Only a suggestion..... You must mix Fuego with ibericum ham while putting your bindings, you will get the best set up on your bindings and you will get the best improvement ever in your riding style.....

Fuego was available in Zinal Supermercado, so you can go for good carves there and pick some Fuego's too

Huhuu Swoard owners :!: .
That test is not a joke.
Maybe I´m really wrong but in my mind everybody´s setup faild the test with these angles:
Back foot angle
46.5 degrees
47 degrees

So maybe it´s not so dangerous to fail it?
But how much you can do it?
Is the setup ok in the picture?

Please do the test and tell the results.

Matti

P.S. you don´t need to empty the winebox  .
