[Kessler SL 09-10] What do you think the damage...?

Post by carve26 » Friday 5 February 2010, 5:19

This photo is that base wood of Kessler SL(162cm) 09-10 was be

damaged without a) the baord-to-baord impact, b) the board-to-object

impact, c) the nose-dive & nose break, because of the unknown cause.

In addition, the slope condition also was a good without the ice, the

mogul and not used the improper binding or binding plate.

The setting was only Deck [Kessler SL 162cm 09-10] + Binding [f2 race

titan 08-09] as the basic setting and the recommended stance.

Which do you think the cause a) consumer's mistke or b) product's

defect...?

looks like broken core close to the sidewall..or could be the sidewall unglued to the core.. We consider this kind of pb " warranty" but better ask Kessler what they think!

I can't think of a way you could break it like that if the board was completely fine. Usually they snap in front of one of the bindings if you overload a board, dig in the nose or make a bad landing.

What was Kessler's response?

We forgot one thing:

hello Carve,
welcome to the forum :hello:

hmm, although I think it´s not the best way for first posts.
We´ve had something like this in the german forum and it leaded to some anger.
If you have a problem with your car, would you go and ask another car company?

My problem is: why are you asking? Normal way is to contact Kessler and show them the board.
I think you did and they believe it´s no case for warranty, right?
Otherwise there would be no reason for your question.

But, if it´s not a case for warranty, we would need their statement too.

Do we want this here? 8O 8O
