Fra, I like the vid, but I do miss one part... I am sure there must have been a deleted scene where you crashed yourself, or if not yourself, then at least an other innocent creature or some other object coming your way.....

ps.: Just pulling your leg pal, look fwd to meeting you in Zinal, I'm already in the process of selecting the appropriate wine kit for the event. I also plan to take some original home made Hungarian 'palinka' to turbocharge ourselves prior, during and after snowboarding.....

It`s made of grape, not a cheap compared to PycckI/I CTAHDAPT and much softer than STROH 80 :-)But I got the idea :-) You have chickening out !!

Who knows how many liters of strong alcogol one can bring into Switzerland without any fines or declaration.

Also - does anybody consumes STROH 80 as pure drink, i.e. no ice, juse, water and other solvents :-)? I feel that i do something wrong here.

Oh..we made lot of offtopic here - sorry Silber. Nice video :-) Why you not making HD version of that? :-) Alex rocks in powder :-)

@ Starikashka: grape? So it is like an Italian Grappa? Would be glad to try it with Francesco and the rest of the Italian team as unbiased judges. I would never chicken out if it is about alcohol.

@ Francesco: I think it'll be 3 of us. Please remind me, what is the arrangment for that night. We eat in the restaurant of Hotel Point de Zinal, right?

Istvan, i never try grappa :-) So i do not know what it`s like. We also have Kizlyarka - it`s 1 year matured grape spirit and Kosogorov - just distilled grape stuff, 45% :-) i do suspect that this is way better that vodka.

Do you know legal limit of alcohol import by private person into Switzerland :-) I know that you will consume everything :-) but knowing that limit i can manage the risk of being trapped by custom officials for illegal alcohol import. I would not be able justify the amount and type of alcohol for own consumption by my nationality :-)

Straikashka, when they start to examine you, start claiming that you are being dicriminated because of your nationality....

BTW I have a very bad experience with Swiss customs, every time I go to Livigno and back and go through Switzerland, they always pull me over at customs. Only the central-eastern European plates. And of course they never find anything on me. The same car with same dressed people with a German plate never get pulled over. They drive through without slowing down.

They consider eastern European people second class EU citizens which is plainly unaccaptable.

For some stupid reason they believe that we get tempted by tax free alcohol in Livigno and the trunk must be full of spirits. I wonder if they ever calculated the value of the car versus the potential upside on smuggling a few bottles of spirits....

I am really pissed of by their behavior and I hope they will one day lose their jobs and finally whole Europe will be one big unified piece of land.

ps.: Please, do not take this personal if you are Swiss. It's not about you, and not about Swiss people in general. Its about your customs people. And I do not mind if they take it personal, 'cause I mean it and I do take it personal.

It was the same before when France still checked their borders for yellow plates. Get your whole car turned upside down while all junkies with French plates returning from Maastricht pass by unchecked. We do not all drive around with weed stashes in our trunks to corrupt the innocent French youth just because it happens to be legal in Holland

And why would we take the risk to smuggle it to France if the French come by in droves themselves to experience some "Liberté" not found in the land of milk and honey?

Oops :-) seems that i create national conflict here :-)

OK, i just take 1L of something because i not sure about the limits. All countries i were before had 1L limit :-)
To get efficient shipping i suggest this should be a 96% spirit :-) If i will not appear on the ECS in time - i could be in Swiss jail. Could be a nice experience. Anybody were in Swiss jail? Hope that it`s best jails in the world :-) with Geneva lake and mountans visible from the window.
