I agree, backside turns he made were finest and cleanest looking (except J&P :D ) what we saw during weekend. :pray2:
And picture is also very nice, so full points for fotographer too :D

EDIT
There are now very few shots available of great riders in Zinal
PLUS
for those who could not join us, there is short video clip 9 Megs to get feeling how it was ride great slopes of Zinal.
These pics are taken from video so quality is far from camera quality and all of these are not handled/manipulated anyway, i'm too lazy now for that 8)
I will make more pics after this weekend carving session so no answers during weekend, i'll be carving :bravo:

And address is http://pokkis.ojankaivajat.org
And then select Carving pictures -> Zinal
Yes there is also direct address to this but this address is more secure if disk space will become problem later :D

camera

Post by kjl » Saturday 7 February 2004, 17:39

Yes, Pokkis - would be interested in knowing as well. Is that a helmet-camera (like one of these http://shop.viosport.com/store/customer ... da23263c64) that you've attached to the board, or did you fasten the whole camcorder down there (in which case, does the vibration break the camera?)

Also, I have a helmet-cam and I have been toying with the idea of making a helmet cam rig that would screw into the frontmost inserts on the board (which I don't use as my stance width is low), but it seems like you have already solved that problem! Any details would be great...

Thanks!

Yep, it is thumb size helmet cam i used. Unfortunately first proto type of holder is little too shacky and i will update it for our next session at begining of March.
I can/will take few shots of system later this week and give link here.
My idea was to use front most inserts but unfortunately they are covered by bindings so i have set holder between front binding and boot, it works suprisigly well there
