test of a gallery

Post by nils » Thursday 22 January 2004, 16:26

We are actually testing various solutions for an online gallery: this is one, which downside is that it is host on a home server.
We'd like some feedback on how fast it is, if slow is it too slow, and advice if any! thnx!
We would like everyone to be able to add their own pics to the right gallery too so its almost interactive and fun to watch.

(Keep in mind that most of you come day after day, and most of the pictures will be in your web browser cache after the first visits so will load instantly).

Am removing the link, and the gallery for now

It seems only 50% of people seems to agree, and the rest think it is too slow, and since it is also our point of view (too slow), we are going to find another solution.

stay tuned for the real gallery once it is up :)
