The Edge - Extremecarving Video

Post by Drew » Sunday 25 October 2009, 15:12

Last season, as well as spending a lot of time extremecarving, Guy Dessoy and I also spent some time side slipping down the Barthélémy with video camera in the hand while trying to keep up with the other person carving down the slope.

After a long summer of video editing we came up with a final product which is a 5 minute long film entitled “The Edge”.

The Edge is available for your viewing on YouTube under the following link...

If you would like your own copy of The Edge, it is also available for download on extremecarving.com...
https://www.extremecarving.com/films/2009/The_Edge.zip

Guy and I look forward to your comments and impressions and wish you a happy viewing.

Drew.

Very nice video guys,
i like a lot the sequence where you follow each other, bravo

PS: Seems you had the Barthelemy in great shape, looks fantastic, well groomed and empty, simply perfect.

Lets pray for snow now............

Great video!
And both "artists" are goofy riders!
So I can try to make a mental picture of their movements and try to imitate them - without having to mentally reverse sides like when I see P&J :D
Thank you for the vid.

Ciao to all.

Perfectly nostalgic video with good laid down turns and Zinal's slopes. Hello Andrew and Guy, I'm glad to see you and your extremecarving!
You did well!

Thanks to you all for your comments :D Whenever I watch it, it takes me onto the slopes!

Yes Lee, I love my new soft flex Swoard! No plans for NZ yet, but who knows what turns out.

I'm back in Zinal again this season, working this time the full season in St-Luc (down the valley from Zinal), and very much looking forward to riding my Swoard Dual :D

See you all at the ECS.

Cheers!
