Hi,
We are going at the end of the month to Ischgl in Austria and we are looking for information: where are the best slopes for EC, but is there good places for freeride too, what are the good places for restaurant/after ski and so on...
Please , give us some information or feed back about this resort!
Thanks
Does someone know Ischgl in Austria :?:

I've been carving there for many years ... Wonderful carving slopes! ... Service, apré ski, etc ..... everything is nice, except huge number of tourists ....
There are many slopes well suited for carving; doesnt matter swiss/austrian side .... I personally like a (bügel) slope on a Swiss side (right in Samnaun dorf, behind Montana hotel) .... it is right in the village, often used for training of swiss slalom team ...
Have fun!!

Hello Djan,
I am very often in the skiresort of Ischgl, so let me suggest you my usual route I am doing.
http://www.bergfex.at/ischgl/panorama/
there are 3 gondolas up to the resort.
I use the most left one the "Pardatschgradbahn A2"
up there turn left and go down the slope "black 4!" till the middle station of the A2 and then up again.
from top of the Pardatschgrad go down to the Idalpe and use the "Viderjochbahn B2" to get the the slope "red 10" this one seperates in the middle, turn left there.
Up again with the B2 seat lift i cross over to the Swiss part of the ski resort Samnaun down to the Alp Trida using the slope "blue 62".
from there i go up with the seatlift N 6 and enjoy the slope red 69b x times
then it is lunch time at Alp Trida.
from there I go up again with seatlift N1 to the Viderjoch and use the Slope blue 64 to get to the seatlift O1 up to the highest point of the Skiresort, the "Greitspitz"
from there use the very nice slope red 14b ! to get into the Höllenkar valley
there you have the very nice slopes black 20 and 21! which will do fine for the afternoon.
second day go up with Pardatschgradbahn again and do not miss the black 4
but from the Idalpe go staight down to the Höllenkar and use the small seatlift C3 to get to the right side of the skiresort.
there use seatlift E2 and have fun with the slopes black 35! and the black 34
have your break at the party house "Paznauner Taya" and you may not go for another ride since you will get drunk with all the others there.
anyway thats just to give you a little Idea of where you can do nice carving in Ischgl.
as for having nice food at the end of the day
I go often to "Cafe Salner" for dinner and eat the "Patznaun Pfanderl".
the have nice food and on sunday before you go home you need to have there your coffee and a "Kaiserschmarn" they are well known for it.
other dinner locations are the "Post" or if you go to the "Trofana Alm" (there eat the Mastochsenfetzen or Almgeheimnis)
anyway, have fun

Be at the Lift going to the Idalp at 8.30. Take the gondola to the idalp. drive a 10 meters down to the lift B3 going over to Samnauen.
Take either the right or left slope, and drive it as often until to many people are there. The slopes are perfectly prepared in the morning.
Drive over to Höllenkar take the lift D2 (oder D1) driving you to the black slopes. Ride them as hard as you can.
Drive down to "Patznauner Taja". Relax, Drink. Have a view rides there. Do not take the slope down to ischgl. Take the gondola down. Go in the "Kuhstall" or "Trofana Alm" or something different.
