Protective Gloves

Post by István » Saturday 13 December 2003, 15:59

Hey,

I started to buy Level gloves 2 years ago. I always buy the top model, full option. It's called Half Pipe Pro. Frankly speaking, most of the options are useless. :( It costs about 100 EUR. Check out http://www.levelgloves.com/

The wrist protector really works, and it has a special shield also on part of the palm, which protects you from smaller pieces of ice or rocks on hard pack.

The nose wiper also works well

I usually ride around 20 days a season, and that's aproximately the lifetime of this type of equipment.

Finger injuries happen to me often. Right now, my little finger on my right hand is bigger than it should be. It happened 2 weeks ago on Möltall.... I just can't help it, it happens.

Once in the past I have also asked Nils about some long-lasting solution for gloves, as far as I remember they glue some other material onto it. Nils might give you the name of the material and glue. I have not tried it yet, but I will do so with the last years model.

Cheers,

István
