I managed to squeze some time and go thru all 280 runs from zinal i had on film. This year it will be published without music, there has been so many opinions about music that i decided left out it this time

Film, SIZ alias Seen in Zinal, is available on normal DVD and 1980*1080 HDef format, and most likely also on Playstation playable BluRay version. It might be possible to get first films shipped before Oppdal carving camp, but let's see when i get covers for cases from printing.

Sorry, Blitz - Pokkis did such a great job and such a lot of work for us. He did again this year. I fully understand, if he reduces his workload at least a bit

:pray2: :pray2: :pray2:
Thanks for all, Pokkis!

I must admit that there is music on film, you can see it with names, but due copyright reason i can not delivere it with them.
I try to find some copyright free music during next week and if i find, i can include that. So if you have good pointers, shoot me with message.
BUT music needs to be with conditions which allow include that to film, so they should be like:
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

I can download stuff this week and edit on following, due i dont have network connection in Oppdal
So if you come with good proposals about music before Friday, then ther eis change to get it to film, otherwise you will hear sraaaah-scraah only

Pokkis: first of all, thank you for your filming work.
For the music: I have looked at the small version that is available for downloading. And I like the noise of the scraping of the edges, digging deeply in the snow. I think it is even better than music.
My advice: leave it as it is. If I really want to see the "Seen in Zinal" film with music, I can always turn on the stereo while I am watching the film.

Pokkis, I know it's an enormous work for editing video.
Perhaps Raphael or Jeanma could help us to find free music ?

Ciao to all,
If you play Zinal 2008 with 5.1 sounds, sound of snow is on rear speakers

Nope, unless I compose myself the music (bad idea) and sell it a good price to Pokkis :P .
In that particular case natural sound is the best compromise, I agree with Pokkis.
