Hi, Willow, I hope that your leg heals quickly, the shin bang looked really nasty on picture!
You captured some nice moments. But if I may make some comments, then from the photo information seems like you had quite closed aperture (f/11-f/14 on some images which I looked). On 10 Mpixel crop-sensor camera diffraction starts to be visible around f/13 so I'd use apertures f/8-f/11 with kit lens (which you probably had) to obtain optimal results. And this would have allowed to use ISO 200 or 100 to reduce noise: in some pictures noise in sky is quite visible.
I usually turn sharpening and contrast down when I shoot JPG to maximize dynamic range and reduce JPG artifacts, this allows more post-processing later if needed.

Thanks Vahur, any tips are most welcome. I am no photographer but have always had an interest. The problem is my wife to be, bought me a Cannon eos d1000 for christmas(and she said only get something small) so I have a duty to try and get some good images. Its no pro camera but I enjoy taking pictures of super cool people. I will take on board your help and try to make it work. I am still bowing down to you and thanks, one of your images are now on bomberonline. :clap2:

It's hard to believe it was already my 4th time to the ECS. I was not supposed to come this year but well, the "economy crisis" helped me out this time . For a short while, as I was not supposed to come, I even convinced myself that it was for the best because the level of riders coming to the event is so high, that I was afraid of looking like a "goofy" rider (... )
In the end, I came with my bro and we spent a good time staying at a "Little Mazot" in the old village with cows waking me up in the morning :)...but not early enough to be the first on the slope :silly:
No kidding : I was really happy to see "old faces", new faces, to be able to train looking at other very good riders, to test the new generation of boards with 3 different flex or length....and have a very nice birthday present (another Swoard Fleece :-))
 many thanks to the team that has dedicated so much time for the organization of this ECS. Thank you to everyone for keeping "le bon esprit" of the Event. And many thanks for the pictures :-)

Rey, it was pleasure to ride with you too :bravo:
If you keep progressing like you do now, next year you will be Russian top carver, beating Evgeni
But your board is certainly too much noodle for you :D wait for film to see it 8)
If i'm lucky, film should be ready on next weekend 8O

And if you want to learn more carving this season, just join us to OppdalCamp, that is second best option in Europe to learn and to be on film
