Are there and bad alpine snowboards around?

Post by domsch » Saturday 3 January 2009, 21:24

Since I know that the perfect snowboard doesn't exist and that much depends on personal perference I ask the other way around.

Are there any brands (for carving/race) around, which shouldn't be bought due to bad engineering or cheap materials used?

And to be clear, I am talking about higher priced brands like Sword, Prior, Donek, Nidecker, Coiler, F2, Virus, Pogo etc..

Hmm, you not that clear yet - for example, if you will use slalom board for bomberstyle carving i expect you would call that board useless piece of wood. But for snowboard slalom you would call that perfectly engineered out :-)

Sometimes snowboarders are not well engineered by parents and nature.

What do you want really?
i`m learning
