Now when this message is at Carving session page:
Due to the fact, that Lech has no snow, we have to cancel the first destination of our Carving-Session Tour 2004. The lack of snow in Lech will not allow us to have our own slope.
Although we will still be in Lech on this date and carve with a small group, there will be no closed slope and 'only' #one testboards. Everyone is still welcomed. We are sorry for the bad news, but we still hope to see you in Aspen or in Davos (April 2004).
Are you planing go there still or are we gonna meet elsewhere ?
We are flying to Zurich anyway and are open for all god plans.
BTW Does anyone know if slopes of Lech are in carvable condition anyway ?

Hi Pokkis,

as I heard, Mc Fussel is planning to organize an informal meeting at Soelden or somewhere else. I did not yet decide, if I want to join or not, but propably I will ;). I think Soelden would be a great place and maybe we even can persuade J & P & N to be with us there and bring some test-boards ;))

Well, if you look at the webcams of the slopes in Lech, it really does not look very "carveable". And we have "Foehn" at the moment (i.e. warm wind). So I doubt the situation will become really good until the weekend. One thing is sure: I will not endanger my Swoard by stones etc. on the slope ...

But Soelden is a good idea, I think I would join in if the weather is ok, but probably I would come only for Sunday.

Greetings, Eduard.

We, 5 person of Ojankaivajat.org, will be in Sölden. Any one else ? Or other plans we could participate taking in concideration that we will come from Zurich airport.

Hello,

the weather seems to be good at the weekend in the alps, so i think i´ll be in sölden at sunday. 8)

I was in sölden last sunday, and the slopes are in a quite good condition there. :bravo:

Especially the steep one at the "Rettenbacher" glacier, where the ski worldcup (GS) takes place, was in a very good condition in the morning.

So i´ll be at the Rettenbach glacier at about 8.30 am, and i hope to meet you there
Has anyone of you a swoard??? (So it would be easier to find you)

joe
