What resorts are open in Switzerland for early season skiing/boarding and when? I only know of Glacier3000, Saas Fee, and Zermatt off the top of my head. What other resorts may be open and what resorts are next in line to open? I'm talking the Alps here - generally for me western Austria thru the French Alps.

The three Swiss glaciers you mention are open! The Glacier3000 opened last week-end: despite a hot summer, there is enough snow!
In the French Alps, Les Deux-Alpes opens this week-end with the "Mondial du snowboard"!
The Swoard team will be there with Swoards for people interested in testing them!
Dates: on Sunday 27 and on Monday 28 October!
