Bomber and Catek bindings

Post by surfiver » Sunday 19 October 2003, 23:42

Hi there again

just read the posting about the catek bindings. Its all very well that you keep saying how good the all metal plates from the states are but where did you all get hold of them. Blue tomato doesnt have nor does any other german snowboard shop - to my knowledge. I live in germany as you might have guessed. Help would be much appreciated

thanks

Iver

Hi, Surfiver
I just imported my Catek shortplates directly from the States. It's an expensive joke because I did have to pay taxes just like I bought a SWOARD 168H. The taxes for me were about 24% over the importamount, also paying importcosts over the sendingcosts.
It will cost you, but then you have some (fun....),(in dutch: Het kost wat, maar dan heb je ook wat). Money isn't that important to me, I just use it to have some fun.

Cheers, Hans.

Pokkis, you are right , you can buy them with the swiss guys from oxess, but I as a member of the EU, I have to pay importcosts, likewise I do import them from the USA.

Sorry, I couldn't find them on www.alpinepunk.com and not in their store either, only F2 products. Can you you tell me where I can find the new TD'2 ?
(Your website link doesn't work.) Nice carvepictures though on the website.

Greets, Hans
