Has anyone tried Kniessl Rail ski boots for snowboarding? I tried on a pair and the boots are very comfortable. The flex feels almost identical to my Nordica SBH's (snowboard specific hard boots) - at least when I was walking around the store.
The lining in my Nordica SBH's are totally packed out, so its time to retire the boots. I also tried on a pair of Raichle AF600's but the boots were not as comfortable and were $150 more expensive.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

my advice> :)
get custom injected foam linings for your nordica..
it last 5-7 years if you treat them good.. and its THE custom solution
try sidas/comformable or zip fit brand too...
I have mine since 1995, and they just worn out this season, i'm getting new boots (AF700) and new injections for next season if i can afford it ( also got to get 2 new boards gee !)

Custom inserts
Nils,
Replacing the liners with custom liners was my original option. Research on the web indicated that custom liners should get shop fitted to ensure a good fit. Only one shop in my area sold custom liners (Raichle Thermoflex) and they were $130.
I found the Kniessl Rail on sale for $200. So for an additional $70, I'd prefer to just get new boots.
