Online article in Die Welt, german national magazine

Alexandra joined the ECS with her boyfriend that wanted to learn EC and go the ECS ! She decided it was good material for an article and interviewed Jacques and Patrice and felt the meeting's vibes...
You can read the article here:
http://www.welt.de/reise/article1731897 ... rving.html

for the google translate link click here:

Alexandra is basically explaining how EC movement started, and explaining what she sees in the meeting...its a good news for the community because alpine snowboarding made it to such a big media ! wow...

Strangely enough comments are trying to display a rivality that does not exist between EC and other riding styles... there was many people on narrow boards at the ECS and they were more than welcome... Some are doing EC on narrow boards with GREAT efficiency...a proof its possible !

Hi JPN/Swoardteam
I did reed the article. My first impression was:"Good to get some positive advertising, so the alpine and EC world can improve.
It is a pitty that some people do not understand that they´d better stick together instead of fighting.
They who think otherwise should come to Zinal and see for themselves that it was one big family, Swoarders, Virussers, F2 ers, Penners whatever, they all came to do one thing, board in their own style.
And they all wanted to go flat.
It was one big community all with the same soul.
Envie will probably never dissapear out of this world.
Thanks again for the great opportunity you, Patrice, Jacques and Sam gave us.
