Here is the location of Zinal in the canton of Valais! :D It may be helpful for you. The highway Geneva-Lausanne-Sion-Sierre dies after Sierre. Take the exit "Val d'Anniviers" and then follow the direction "Zinal".

Further to east, in the next valley, people don't speak French but Swiss German... ;-)

A week ago we already booked a hotel (without Reservation Center).

Do we just have to contact them and choose a package or isn't the package available for us now that we don't have to book a hotel anymore?

What will be the price of the payable lessons?

Hi Erik,
erik wrote:A week ago we already booked a hotel (without Reservation Center).
If you already booked your hotel you still have to contact the Reservation center to book your package.

Warning ! Everyone has to call the RESERVATION CENTER TO BOOK THE PACKAGE and participate in the event. With or without hotel, you have to book your package there !

We still not decided the price of the payable lessons. It depends on the number of request and the exact amount of the charges we will have to pay.

Basically our goal is not to make money discrimination for people with a small budget .

So if many many many people wants to have this lesson with Patrice & Jacques, we will fix a price just enough big to cover our charge and than maybe use a random drawing to determine who will have the chance to participate to this lesson.

Small question: is it already possible to enroll for the payable lesson? If so, I will participate in it :D

Another question: in case you already have an accomodation and skilift ticket, what are the package options then? Would it be still somehow possible to join the lunches for both nights without any package?

For the free lessons with the volunteers instructors selected by the Swoard team: "Registration & information at the Swoard stand in Sorebois" as stated in the PDF document.
For the payable lessons: we will probably open a thread on January about this. It's only 10 places, 5 with Jacques and 5 with me. 8O

The response should be NO. ;-) The packages include the costs for organizing the event, renting the main hall, tables, tent, as well as buying the goodies, T-shirts and giving food & gifts to the volunteers, etc. etc.
For the rare persons like you (and the ones who have a season skipass), we could sell special tickets for the dinners. However the price won't be cheap (it's not only for the food!) because it must include the costs around the event and the participation in the session.
The packages are very good price because they include everything around the event and the skipasses at reduced price. It's of course cheaper than buying the things separately. 8)

Hi
Since we (three persons) stay a week (Feb. 18 - Feb. 25) and already have booked hotel I hope that tickets for the dinners will be an option as we also will buy a one week skipass.

Any idea when these special package prices without lift tickets will be published? We have quite many eagerly waiting for that info.
We have also lift tickets cause we will arrive there on 16th 8) and we will destroy all slopes with Genteleman team even before session starts :D

Yes, but you have not yet bought the skipasses! ;-)
If you buy the skipasses for the period from 16th to 22nd February, and separately the blue package, you still have a good total price, everything included! 8)

Sorry for my ignorance, but I do not fully understand the process. :?:

Am I obliged to book accomodation through the reservation office in order to become eligible for the blue or the red package? In other words: what if I already booked the accomodation? Can I still buy one of the packages?

Thanks

Yes you can purchase the packages if you already have an accomodation.

If you hadn't one before booking the packages, you can book an accomadation through the tourist office (everything is centered there).
