Today is a birthday:
This website opened ONE YEAR ago :!:

At start our goal was only to share our passion and to promote a marginal discipline... Quickly we got many compliments and enthusiastic e-mails! The success even caused us banwith problems on our server! Finally the relentless requests for our prototype boards pushed us to start a production using a semi-industrial process: SWOARD is born this winter! What a great feeling to create "our" own product! And now what a satisfaction to see many happy riders with our boards around the world: they lay down their turns, they have a smile on their face :D

Thank you to all! Thank you for encouraging us during all the year, for your messages, your help, your opinions, etc.
This community is really nice, and one can read only posts of good quality in this forum...
Thank you sincerely, and see you on the slopes I hope! :P

I would like to see that all people of the whole forum together at least at the ten year anniversary, but hopely earlier and then we can all dicuss how it was in the old days when EC was an underground sport. And we can thank the crusaders who took the step to connect us for the sport!

Keep the good spirit going on for years!!!

Thanks for this incredible good extremecarving site. I've learned a lot this season by using your techniques you mentioned and explained on this site.
I've even ordered a Swoard 168 Hard which I get soon, I hope. May be I can just try this board this season. Otherwise I try the new EC-techniques with this new board next year in Austria (Schladming, www.planai.at).

Happy birthday all EC team.
Your site gives nice european aroma for carving scene :D
And your board looks very nice too. I was happy to be able run few test runs with it this weekend and it was really pleasure tool to use.
