Simply crazy ...
]

You really have to be alone on the slope with such a limo. Is there a longer board than that one :D ? [maybe for 2] .

Beside being long boards Tinklers are also such a limos to ride.
If you ever have change, please test them.
Those adjustable Snow-Stix are best what there is for carving.
They are just mind blowing boards, they beat all others by miles

I mcan admit that 252 is too big beast for me 8O
even my 202 sometimes feels quite long one.
But when there is open, free slop, like usually in Oppdal, that feels so great

Even short turns are possible with this huge 202cm board, even on steep slopes, after some practicing

Don't know how to transport a 252cm board. I just bought a bigger longer roofbox for my 202cm board

My most fafourite slope toys are now Tinkler 178 and Pen BJ 821
But as said earlier, as long we talk abot reasonable preised slope toys then Pens and Pogos really rules.
And if one wants to spend all extra money then nothing can beat Tinklers
Except if one looks for ultimate EC-tool, then only answer is SWOARD

it indeed seems that those tinkler are the ultimate cruizing machine....I'm curious about Doug's 250cm powder board will it be made by tinkler?

Boheme currently sells a 220cm swallowtail, as well as pogo its 230cm for the past 2-3 seasons ( stock boards!)

Anyway long boards like this are nice on average to wide slopes... what happens when u run into moguls? narrow transition slopes etc..?

No moguls for me, two damaged knees so no fun. Narrow transitions are no problem with my Tinkler, it has no tendency to bite with the nose into the snow, it just go straight and fast due to its weight. It will accelerate every time, even on flats. The board is amazingly good and easy to steer.

When slopes are crowded you have to be more careful than for example with my Swoard because I need a little more space to brake. But if it is crowdy I always calm down a bit, I don't want to get hurt or hurt another one

Nils, try really to come to Oppdal, then you can spen time on my 178 Tinkler and play with adjustments. That way you will find really what those Tinklers really are for
And yes, naturally the long stick, 202, is alo there for you. And also two other Tinklers too 8)

Well it isn't a boardcase in fact it is a roofbox!!! for my car (www.montblanc.se)

I did buy a boardsleeve in the USA a few weeks ago.
http://phunnybaggs.com/ then choose for View INVENTORY and than BOARD SLEEVE (blue color).

You can find my 202boardsleeve overhere: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/s ... post153094 USD 150, a bargain because the exchangerate with Europe is very interesting nowadays. I can put three boards in it with the TD2 disks on it, no prob.

i would try that board before to have an objective opinion about it, but sincerely think it's a non-sense a board so long, taken with the principal pourpouse of satifating personal hedonism and for impress people

...... I think it's good for the sport to have such things, it's fun and things are different than what man expect.....

And it shows what a snowboardbuilder is capable of. Never thought it was doable to ride with such a board. And you don't know the rider too, he is always seeking his limits in sports like waterskiing, snowboarding and stuff.....
