My old thermoflex liners are becoming too thin, perhaps time to change: to protect the liners, simply use duck tape on damaged regions... it's not optimal but it helps to keep them longer in good shape.
Board? Just a Choc, 180...

Problems

Well, I have 3 different problems with my feet when riding.

1. minor problem: the outer edges of my feet hurt like hell when I have tightened the boots hard to get more control. As a result I loosened the boots a litle bit and now I very rarely have problems with the outer edges.

2. minor problem: my tibia of the rear leg gets blistered after 3 days, but I can handle the pain.

3. Big, big problem: in every frontside turn my heel lifts in the boot and goes down again on backside turns. Last season I had to stop riding because of unbearable pain in my rear heel. There was a huge blister at the inner side of the heel which made riding impossible. I couldn't tighten the boot so much that my foot didn't move any more. So I guess my instep (Spann) is too low/thin.
Seems all this is due to a not so firm innerboot. The innerboot must have some strength to catch up with the tension you put on the outer hardboot by tighten them. Try the Strolzliners which will cost you some (€300)
or buy some Deeluxeliners which I also use but aren't as good as the Strolzliners but are close to it. Both liners have a very good heelhold.
Strolzliners: they measure your feet and then they make them custommized for you (in Austria/Lech).

The best liners for a snowboardboot you can get would be IMHO liners from Johann Leitner. He is THE reference for professional worldcup skiers and snowboarders when it gets to liners (and boot modifications). (liners are handmade out of leather and then foam-injected). Rather get one of his liners than a Strolz - if you pay the price than get the best. However Strolz liners could be a good option as you can get them in quite a lot of stores. Then I would prefer Conformables with hard foam though (IMO as good and cheaper - its the person foaming it and not the material who makes the quality).

Zipfit liners are cork and silicon filled, they will always form to your feet, excellent heel pocket, very warm, they will last years before they pack out and you just put them in your boots, no professional installation, I tried to get my hands on some strolz liners, no luck, I picked up mine from the us importer @ superior ski, salt lake city, ut.
